Belron International, the world's largest automotive glass service specialist, known in Germany under the brand Carglass, commissioned us with the conception and implementation of a worldwide internet presence for the entire company group.

The growing company is active in 28 countries in North and South America, Europe and even Australia and New Zealand.

The comprehensive web presence was designed and implemented on the basis of the open source content management system Typo3. Currently, the last
country-specific changes are being made and one country after another is being switched live.

The round-the-clock support needed for this project is provided by Concept Factory with its partners in Australia, the USA and Canada.

Everything we have learned along the way is used to optimise the process and this has helped us to make our client's website one of the best in the world in this field", says Chris Karpenchuk, the responsible project manager.

The system previously installed for Germany was expanded to include a comprehensive and yet stringent and simple online booking and appointment system. In turn, this is designed for worldwide use and specially tailored to every country's specific market requirements.

A special interface was designed for the call and sales divisions, which guarantees that all online orders are routed to the backoffice correctly, dramatically improving the conversion rate of online orders.

Extensive market-specific marketing tools have been implemented on the country-specific sites. For the sake of ongoing maintenance and support of the many websites, content, branch and appointment management are all kept very simple and easy to use.

According to plan, further countries are scheduled to be online soon.
The responsible management in Portugal, the Netherlands, Spain and France are currently waiting for the final "GO" from corporate head office.
